Aaron D. Hurvitz

David "Dave" J. Kappos is an attorney who served as the Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) from 2009 to 2013. Prior to being confirmed to this post by the U.S. Senate on August 7, 2009,[3] Kappos was the vice president and assistant general counsel, intellectual property law, for IBM Corporation.[
William Kezer

Christopher Maierhöfer
Christopher is a member of the Intellectual Property Law Group of Bird & Bird, Germany. He focuses on national and international patent litigation and also provides general legal advice in intellectual property law and copyright law.

Christopher was admitted to the Bar in 2007. Before joining Bird & Bird in April 2011, Christopher practiced IP and commercial law in an international law firm in Berlin where he gained experience in technology transfer and licensing transactions.

Daniel Ovadya
Daniel Ovadya is a patent engineer having studied computer science and economics at the Technical University of Munich. He worked as a patent attorney during his studies and filed an EP patent on cloud computing with his startup in 2000, which was granted in 2003.

Since 2014 he is working for Questel and is in charge of the automotive market in Europe and responsible for Turkey and Israel.
Hili Rashkovan

Daniel Thomas
Daniel X. Thomas has been working in the field of intellectual property since 1971. After starting as search examiner in The Hague, he later transferred to Munich as substantive examiner, and since 1989 he headed various directorates in the fields of electronics, medical physics and mechanics at the EPO. He has a great experience in Oral Proceedings at the EPO having chaired around 300 of those in opposition procedures.
Daniel left the EPO in 2012 working now as consultant.
Marian Underweiser
Marian oversees the intellectual property operations for IBM’s world-renowned research division. In this capacity she leads a team of legal professionals charged with the procurement of patents, the development and implementation of intellectual property policies and the negotiation of commercial transactions in support of the global research organization. Prior to assuming her current role, Marian was IBM’s Senior Counsel for IP Law Policy and Strategy, formulating policy on a broad spectrum.
Kelly Virdee-Crofts
Kelly Virdee-Crofts is a Senior Patent Attorney at Pearl Cohen's London office and joined the firm with over 18 years of experience as a European and UK patent attorney. Her claim to fame is the making of the security holograms for the £5, £10 and £20 notes for the UK. After 5 years in industry Kelly decided to pursue a career in patents and worked inhouse part time as a IP harvester at Bookham Techology PLC, the other half of her time taken up in private practice training as a patent attorney.
Max Weisman
Max Weisman, Regional Director, is a licensed attorney who has been with TransPerfect for 9 plus years, and has been instrumental in the build out of the patent practice group. He is the lead business development professional for many of TransPerfect’s enterprise patent translation and filing accounts, including the company largest patent client. His primary focus is counseling IP departments as they move to a centralized model for patent translation and filing.
